R -- ENGINEERING SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE P/3 SAR PROGRAM The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to enter into and place a class of orders for one year, on an other than full and open competition basis, to an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00421-98-G-1010, with Environmental Research Institute of Michigan (ERIM), 1975 Green Road, PO Box 134008, Ann Arbor, MI 48113-4008l. ERIM shall provide engineering services for flight test support, maintenance support, data processing and analysis, and upgrade to the P-3 UWB/SAR system. ERIM is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of a unique radar system, and the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform this effort within the limited time constraints of the Navy. Configuration consists of L-, C-, X-, and UHF transmitter systems, the clutter lock unit, the system control computer, and the Real Time Processing Unit.
