The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award on a sole source basis using Simplified Acquisitions Procedures a purchase order to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel located at 2401 E. Camelback Road, in Phoenix, Arizona, to lease/rent conference rooms to hold its Leadership Institutes. Requirements include sleeping rooms, one large conference room (or ballroom), four breakout rooms, a 'No Host' reception, audio visual equipment, faxing, telephones and copying services, and one dinner meal during a seven day period from July 17-23, 1999. The Leadership Institutes provide training for new principals, new assistant principals, mentors for principals, mentors for assistance principals, new superintendents and new assistant superintendents.
