Sealed offers are due on or before Wednesday, July 14, 1999 no later than 4:00 pm EST. Along with a price proposal, contractors must include five related references and a completed Schedule of Values. There will be a preproposal meeting held on Friday, July 2, 1999 beginning at 10:30 a.m. on site (345 Heritage Avenue) to review the project specifics. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS AND THE RESULTS OF THE ADVERTISEMENT WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED UNTIL AWARD OF THE PROJECT. Work includes, but is not limited to, providing all materials, labor and equipment required to perform all demolition of all roof surfaces and substrate of multi-ply BUR gravel, insulation flashing, including identified asbestos containing materials, blocking, facia and wall panels at roof step, mechanical fan units and piping currently unused. Substrate to be removed to metal deck. Contractors will install all insulation, thermoplastic membrance roofing flashing blocking, roof drains piping and curbs inclusive of all work set forth in contract documents, specifications and drawings. The estimated cost of the construction is between $775,000.00 and $1,100,000.00 with construction completion no later than 180 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
