This solicitation notice is for Repair Base Pavements and Airfield Pavements, using an Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract at Cannon AFB, NM, and the United States Air Force Melrose Bombing and Gunnery Range (MBGR), NM. This project is unrestricted and open to any size business. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code applicable for this solicitation is 1611. Awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contractors will be required to furnish all plant, equipment, materials, labor and personnel necessary for repairing asphalt, concrete pavements and associated structures in strict accordance with specifications. The jobs will vary in size from small to large. The guaranteed minimum for first year is $5,000 and $5,000 for each option period exercised (two one-year options possible). The magnitude for this requirement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 25 Jun 99. Bid Opening Date is 26 Jul 99 at 2:00 P.M. local time.
