10 -- MODIFICATION/CONSTRUCTION OF SMALL ARMS WEAPONS RACK AND ACCESSORIES SOL USZA92-99-Q-0020 DUE 062499 POC Deborah E. Norwood, Contracting Officer, 910/432-8598 This is a notice of intent to purchase the following modifications, construction of Small Arms Weapons Storage Rack (SAWR), Cages, and Weapon Transport Case (WTC-1) Team Box as sole source from Reese Fabrication, 2597 Lindsay Road, Fayetteville, NC 28376. Proprietary product and process improvement will be applied to the items. Modify M12 SAWR (350 each), Construct metal cage to enclose M12 SAWR (100 each), Construct a WTC-1 Team Box with internal weapons mount to accommodate M-4A1 carbine rifles with SOPMOD sighting accessories, M-9 hand guns with holsters, and a storage compartment (100 each). Offerors who can furnish the required proprietary item modifications/constructions, may submit, in writing, a sufficient technical data, brochures, etc. to include pricing (FOB Destination) to indicate their capability to provide these proprietary items. All responses must be receive within 15 calendar days of the date of this CBD notice. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that the action may be awarded on a competitive basis. No additional synopsis will be published.
