AMENDMENT NO. 04 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR 20,000 LB Shaker and
Slip Table with Amplifier, Controller, and Software. Companies shall
acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the
official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment
will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the
requirements in paragraphs 2.1 and 2.2, and to change the requirement
in paragraph 6.3. These paragraphs are revised to read as follows: 2.1
Sine sweeps from 180 Hz to 2000 Hz to 180 Hz continuously for 60
minutes minimum at 71g rms with a 200 lb payload. 2.2 Minimum Random
PSD spectrum flat from 20 Hz to 2000 Hz, operating continuously for 60
minutes minimum at 36g rms with up to a 340-lb payload. 6.3 The
vibration control and monitoring system shall be configured for a
minimum of sixteen (16) channels with a set of eight (8) signal
conditioners as spares. Provide, at a minimum, one set of sixteen
accelerometers (16). This set must provide the necessary data to
monitor testing over the entire range of the overall system performance
requirements. The due date for receipt of offers remains unchanged,
June 10, 1999. Companies shall provide the information stated in the
synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on
May 17, 1999. Documents related to this procurement are available over
the Internet and are in Microsoft Office Suite (Word 6.0, Excel 5.0, or
PowerPoint 4.0) format and reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server
which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet
