Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) intends to acquire, on a competitive basis, the listed hardware and software contained in the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ). Interested parties offering "or equal" items must also submit with their offers, detailed specification sheets/technical brochures, etc. with sufficient information for CSC to perform a technical evaluation to ensure compliance with requirements. A determination by CSC to not consider "or equal" offers, based upon information provided by such interested parties, is solely within the discretion of CSC. Responses received after 15 days or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis/solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation as the RFQ (with description and part numbers), Representations and Certifications, and CSC's Terms and Conditions are attached in Word 6.0 files. Quotations must include an executed RFQ, Certification package, and any exceptions to CSC's Terms and Conditions for consideration. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award of this order will be made on an "all or none" basis.
