This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for comercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation no. is DAJN02-9-T-0067 and it is a request for quotations. Incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal acquisition Circular 97-11. This solicitation is set aside 100 percent for small businesses. SIC code is 3579 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The following items are required: Item 0001, one EA Hewlett Packard 1050C (or other brand name equivalent) with large format for E size paper with power cord, 32MB installed, network card 10/100 TX installed, parallel cable, and package of basic inks (black, cyan, magenta, yellow); Item 0002, four EA Hewlett Packard (or other brand name equivalent) 5000N laser jet printer with three paper trays, network card 10/100 TX installed, 12 MB installed, and parallel cables; Item 0003, one EA Hewlett Packard (or other brand name equivalent) laser color printer with two paper trays, network card 10/100 TX installed, 64MB installed, parallel cables, and duplex printing capacity; Item 0004, one EA Xerox 8830 Digital Document System (or other brand name equivalent) with 8830 stacker, network card 10/100 TX installed, 64 MB SDRAM, parallel cables, scanner capacity, product assembly and installation on-site; Optional Item 0005, one EA of the product described as Item 0003, above. Equipment will be required for delivery no later than July 16, 1999 but delivery by July 9, 1999 is encouraged. FAR provision 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items," is applicable to this acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-2, "Evaluation -- Commercial Items." The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: price, technical capability of the items offered to meet the Government's requirements, past performance, and value of standard commercial warranties offered. Accordingly, offerors should include description and identification of their standard commercial warranty(ies) with their quotes. All offerors must include a copy of FAR provision 52.212-4, "Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items," with its wuote. FAR 52.212-4, "Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items," is applicable to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5, "Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive orders -- Commercial Items," is applicable to this order. Specific statutes and executive orders appplicable are as follows: 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, and 52.232-33.
