This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 51-SO-BC-9-00014 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-11. The requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001, Corrugated Carton, 18 X 12.5 X 6 IN, 200 LB test, kraft, single wall, RSC, C-Flute, Quantity is 1,400,000. CLIN 0002, Corrugated Carton, 14.75 X 12 X 9.5 IN, 200 LB test, kraft, single wall, RSC, C-Flute, Quantity is 25,000. Cartons are to be free of burr and frayed edges, joints are to be glued or taped, all dimensions are I.D. and shall have a tolerance of plus or minus 1/8 IN. Packaging Specifications: cartons are to be packaged utilizing core pallets, with top and bottom corrugated sheets, flanges adequate for 4-way banding and forklift handling. All core pallet loads are to be marked to adequately identify contents, quantity, and purchase order number. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Bureau of the Census, 1201 East Tenth Street, Jeffersonville, IN, 47132, Attn: Receiving Section; Bldg. 60F. Acceptance at same location. Delivery no later than Tuesday, July 13, 1999. The following provisions and clauses apply to this RFQ. 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2, Evaluations-Commercial Items, 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, include a completed copy with offer, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. Bids may be faxed to 812-218-3937. Award will be made to the responsive bidder offering the lowest cost. In order to be considered responsive, an offeror must bid on the full quantities stated.
