99 -- SECONDARY ITEM KITS SOL DAAH01-99-R-0162 DUE 062999 POC AMSAM-AC-ML-SB, Roberta Bodine, Contracting Officer 256-842-6113 This is a justification to procure by other than full and open competition from Northrop Grumman Corporation, Bethpage, NY (vendor code 26512). It is anticipated that a fixed price modification to contract DAAH01-96-D-0025 will be negotiated for this action. The modification will provide a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) option for secondary item kits in support of IFTE, BSTF and CEE/Nontactical BSTF, to be exercised on or more times beginning Jun, FY 99 through Sep, FY 00. FMS funds will be utilized for each procurement. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire this item from other than the qualified sources. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources.
