Defense Distribution Center (DDC) intends to award a contract for Defense Distibution Albany GA (DDAG) to White System, Inc., Kenilworth, NJ for relocation of White System Carousels from warehouse 1220 to warehouse 1221. Scope of work: Disassemble and relocate two (2) Model 2400 carousels within 300 -- 400' of currect location, at separate building in existing complex, on ground floor. Equipment description: Model TB3660, serial number TB58405,6. Contractor must guarantee the equipment will be logically and efficiently dismantled and re-assembled per factory specifications. Contractor personnel must be able to identify equipment deficiencies and conditions which could result in future repairs. Contractor must be able to supply parts if required and provide operator and safety training to personnel on site at the time the work is completed. Contractors possessing the required expertise and resources are invited to submit information as to their prices, capabilities, technical data and any other pertinent data within 15 days of this annoucement. All responses should refer to SP3100-99-T-0371. No formal solicitation document exists. When a response is received from a vendor that meets the requirements and an analysis indicates that a competitive acquisition would be more advantageous to the Government a formal solicitation may be issued.
