The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has a requirement for Real Estate Property Sales Closing Services for single family properties (1-4 units) owned by HUD. The geographic area covered by this solicitation is Central Florida. The counties covered by this solicitation will be listed in the solicitation. The primary objectives of the proposed contract are to ensure that: 1. The sale of all properties assigned to the contract close within the time stipulated by the sales contract. 2. Prompt and accurate payment of all closing charges are made. 3. The net proceeds of each sale are deposited to a non-interest bearing escrow account and request is initiated for the wire transfer of the proceeds via Fedwire to HUD's account with the U.S. Treasury on the day of closing or no later than the next banking day. 4. The complete closing package is submitted to HUD within two working days of closing. HUD anticipates awarding one contract. This contract will be for one base year with four optionyears. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. HUD anticipates mailing the solicitation on or about June 23, 1999. Solicitations will be available for downloading from the HUD Web Page on June 23, 1999, as well.
