PROCUREMENT INDUSTRY FORUM, LAKEHURST, NEW JERSEY This is a modification: The Naval Air Engineering Station, Lakehurst, NJ, in conjunction with Northern Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Lester, PA, will host an Industry Forum on Thursday, July 8th, 1999, from 7:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon. The location will be Building 484, Galley, at the NAES Lakehurst, NJ. In order to obtain entry to the base, contractors will be required to obtain a pass at the Security Building at the entrance of the base. Driver's license, Registration and proof of Insurance will be required. The purpose of the forum is to provide information to prospective contractors concerning innovative procurement tools and new contracting practices/processes, as well as to encourage contractor participation and partnership in accomplishing various upcoming projects at NAES Lakehurst, NJ, and in the greater Northern Division Mid-Atlantic Rgion. Topics of interest will include Design-Build processes, Source Selection, Subcontracting/Small Business/Partnering, Environmental programas well as current and future opportunities for the Navy and the Army National Guard. The forum will provide the opportunity for contractors to meet with Navy representatives on a one-on-one basis. There is no cost to attend this forum, however, contractors must register in advance as space is limited.
