THE NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND DISTRIBUTED ENGINEERING PLANT INDUSTRY DAY The Naval Sea Systems Command, Warfare Systems Directorate (SEA 05), will conduct an Industry Day on Tuesday, 29 June 1999, from 1330-1730 hours at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia, in the Station Theater (building 117). The purpose of Industry Day is: 1) to present the Navy's Distributed Engineering 'Plant' to industry through a series of briefings and panel discussions, and 2) to establish a dialogue with industry to facilitate industries future involvement in the utilization of the Distribution Engineering 'Plant' for iterative design, development, and early testing of combat systems/BMC4I systems. Attendance at this Industry Day will provide a valuable opportunity for questions and answers regarding this major NAVSEA initiative.
