The solicitation documents will be available for downloading from the Internet on or about June 21, 1999, Bid Opening is scheduled for on or about July 20, 1999. A pre-bid conference will be held on or about July 7, 1999. The exact time and place of the pre-bid conference will be provided in the solicitation documents. Work includes but is not limited to: Cleaning of exterior stone masonry of building, including granite curbs, steps, etc.; repointing of joints in exterior stone of the building and related steps, curbs, etc.; patching deteriorated stone of building as indicated on drawings; removal and replacement of sealant around all windows and doors; removal of all visible rust at steel window frames, metal stairs etc., then prepping, priming and painting of these surfaces; replacing (reglazing) all broken glass at all window frames; weather-stripping of all doors and windows; cleaning of all exterior architectural metals; removal of all existing window film and application of new window film; sand blasting, prepping, dip priming and painting of window well grates and installation of screens thereon. The Contractor will be required to perform on the site, and with its own organization, work equivalent to at least 75 percent of the total amount of work to be performed under the contract.
