The work will consist of asbestos abatement and lead based paint abatement and disposal; replace windows and doors; construct two (2) canopies; remodel existing toilet facilities to meet ADA requirements for accessibility; install/replace various architectural finishes as shown and specified; replace heating and ventilating systems; install fire sprinkler system; and upgrade electrical systems and replace light fixtures. The contractor is responsible for accomplishing all items of work in accordance with the applicable drawings, specifications and provisions of the contract. Any sundry labor materials, equipment and/or appurtenances not specifically detailed or specified, but are required to complete the project, shall be provided as an integral part of the scope of work hereinafter specified. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This solicitation will issued under full and open competition procedures on or about June 23, 1999.
