The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for Umbilical Cable Assemblies (NAVSEA Drawing 6894510) with associated Receptacles (NAVSEA Drawings 6990490 and 6894580) and Inserts (NAVSEA Drawing 6894530) in support of the MK48 ADCAP Torpedo. The solicitation will be for a base quantity with 4 option quantities. The production lot base quantity for each item shall be 392 EA with 4 EA periodics per delivered lot. First Articles (4 EA) will be required for each item from unproven sources. Options will be stepladder priced for a quantity up to 400 EA per year, plus applicable periodics. Option 1 may be exercised within 365 days after first article approval (FAA) (or after award if FA is waived); Option 2 may be exercised within 730 days after FAA; Option 3 may be exercised within 1095 days after FAA; and Option 4 may be exercised within 1460 days after FAA. It is desired that delivery of up to 300 EA be accomplished every 150 days. Inspection and Acceptance of the production units will be at origin, with shipment of the units to various Government sites via GBL. The solicitation will be issued on or about 30 Jun 99 with a 30 day closing date as a 100% small business set-aside. Past Performance will be evaluated.
