16 -- 20 FOOT STATIC LINE AND D-BAG ASSEMBLY SOL DAAD16-99-T-1076 DUE 062899 POC Elaine M. Scarnici The US Army Material Command Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement for a 20-Foot Static Line Assembly, consisting of a Deployment Bag (D-Bag) and Static Line Assembly. The D-Bag (18 x 12 x 5 inches) is constructed of 8.8-ounce cotton sateen cloth. The static line Type VIII Nylon with a fluorocarbon finish is permanently attached to the D-Bag, and is 20 feet long, with a tensile strength of 4,000 pounds. The Government anticipates that this acquisition, utilizing the best value concept, will result in a firm fixed price contract. This will be restricted to the approved sources on Qualified Product List (QPL) 6645. Other interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requrement or submit proposals, but will not be considered for this procurement.
