The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex proposes to contract for 1 set Syntactic Buoyancy Module. A set shall include a total of two buoyancy modules to be installed above the sonar sphere of a 688 Class submarine . Sonar sphere syntactic eyebrow modules shall be manufactured IAW NAVSEA Drawing 115-6818896 Rev. A, General Notes and Details thereon and Detail 1-6F, "Description & Specification for Modular Syntactic Block" as applicable for hull # SSN 750, Parts 1 and 3. Contractor to include all required 0.500-inch thick NI-CU tapping plates. Various certifications and verification will be required IAW referenced NAVSEA Drawing. First Article Testing and High Shock Testing are required and the approved reports must be submitted with proposals.
