Fax 208-387-5780 Lear Jets and Gulfstream 1. Under an existing contract
the Navy is utilizing a number of Lear Jets plus one Gulfstream 1 for
a variety of Military Exercises. The characteristics of the aircraft
have worked very well for the missions and the need for similar support
has expanded significantly. We require a minimum of eight properly
equipped aircraft of which at least five must meet the performance
characteristics of the Lear Jet model "36" (or equal). The other three
could meet the characteristics and requirements of the Lear Jet model
"35" or model "36". The Gulfstream 1 (or equal) will be a cargo
aircraft providing mission support capability. A separate award may be
made for this item. The successful offeror must be approved by the Air
Force's Air Mobility Command. The awardee will have 180 days from date
of award of contract until start of contract performance. The
solicitation is based on a negotiated procurement utilizing the
commercial terms and conditions prescribed by FAR Part 12 and utilizing
the selection process prescribed in FAR Part 15. Posted 06/08/99
