The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1542 General Contractors Non residential buildings, other than Industrial Buildings and Warehouses. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The work includes the following and incidental related work. Building 2100 provide a stair extension to the 2nd floor, rework corridor doors to provide for better egress, provide an automatic sprinkler system throughout both floors of the building. Building 2121 provide one-hour fire rated doors at all levels to the exit stair wells, provide fire alarm system throughout building, provide a Class B, one and one half hour fire rated door between the flammable liquid storage area and the remainder of the building. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is 22 June 99. The projected bid opening date is 02 August 1999. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick up a copy of the plans and specs at the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction, Building 2004.
