synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with
the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the
only solicitation, a quote is being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N61339-99-Q-4011 is
issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and
clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. The
solicitation shall be awarded on a sole source basis to NIDA
Corporation, Melbourne, FL. The SIC Code for this solicitation is 3679
with a size standard of 500 employees. The following items are
required: CLIN 0001, printed circuit boards with the capability of
interfacing with the Nida Model 130E training console, To consist of:
Each Nida experiment card is fully assembled and operational and
connects easily to the Nida Model 130E Test Consoles (the computerized
electronic breadboard box), which is interfaced to a computer running
Scores Pro '98 Interactive CourseWare (ICW). The cards cover all
aspects of electricity and electronics from the basic fundamentals
through various advanced electronic systems as dictated by the ICW
lessons. The following card sets are required for use: a. DC
Electricity Circuit Cards -- Teaches students the laws of electricity
and how to use formulas for calculations and measurements of DC
voltages, currents, and resistances in series, parallel, as well as
both combinations for complex DC circuits. b. AC Electricity Circuit
Cards -- Introduces students to AC voltages and currents covering for
calculations and measurements of AC capacitance and inductance in
series, parallel, and combination for complex AC circuits. d. Analog
Electronics Circuit Cards -- Illustrates to students how to calculate,
measure, and investigate the characteristics of diodes, transistors,
amplifiers, oscillators, multi-vibrators, power supply, and radio
circuits. d. Digital Electronics Circuit Cards -- Illustrates to
students how to calculate, measure, and troubleshoot digital circuits
such as logic gates, combination circuits, flip-flops, counters,
registers, and memory circuits. 1,085 each. Delivery shall be made no
later than 90 days after award to Silverdale, WA 98315 and Groton, CT
06349; acceptance shall be made at destination upon delivery. Delivery
shall be made FOB Destination. The following FAR/DFAR provisions and
clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4,
52.212-5, 252.212-7001. The following subparagraphs of FAR 52.212-5(b)
apply: (12), (13), (14), (15), (22) . The following subparagraphs of
FAR 52.212-5(c) apply: None. The following clauses of DFARS
52.212-7001(b) and (c) apply: 252-225-7001. A completed copy of the
following must be included with the quote: FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS
252.212-7000. The following clauses also apply: DFARS 252.204-7004,
"Required Central Contractor Registration" and "Year 2000 Warranty --
Commercial Supply Items". The DPAS rating for this solicitation is N/A.
