Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, PA., intends to purchase on a sole source basis services for a Diesel Fuel Processing Test Stand Upgrade. This effort is needed to modify the existing NSWCCD 10 kW fuel reforming test stand using USMC supplied components, upgrade the test stand controls system, and evaluate a new reformer design and catalyst. TEST STAND MODIFICATION. Rebuild and upgrade the existing test stand using components of the USMC system, including but not limited to: air compressorrs, cooling fans, fuel pumps, water pumps, and heat exchanger, as appropriate to improve the performance of the existing equipment and enhance its value to future Navy fuel reformer research programs. Modify the existing controls and computer-operated data colection system to operate with the reconfigured test stand.
