E-MAIL: Click Here to E-mail Buyer*****, Alison.Trowbridge@hill.Af.Mil. Hill AFB is seeking potential offerors for the privatization of the GarnetBlast Media Residue Reduction Study for Hill AFB. This notice is being issued to determine the interest and feasibility of proceeding with a formal request for proposals. The objective of this project is for the contractor to provide services, technical man-hours, materials and equipment required to perform the work described in the Statement of Work (SOW). Pollution prevention services provided by the contractor under this SOW will entail the investigation of the feasibility of recycling or reducing the garnet blast media residue that must currently be disposed as hazardous waste. Environment Programs are typically regulated by public law and statutes/departmental agency and command regulation/directives, and other state and local regulation. It shall be the contractor's responsibility to identify the applicable federal, state and local laws and regulation for this delivery order and apply the procedures and protocols as required. The contractor shall also comply with the issue or version of the DoD and AF directives, regulations, policies and other documents in effect on the data of issuance of this delivery order, unless otherwise noted. Assess and evaluate the current garnet blast media recycle/reuse process, and corresponding waste streams for all the garnet blast booths in use at buildings 847 and 5050 for efficiency. Review any data already available on the garnet blast processes, analyze the residue wastes and include assessment as part of final report.
