Architecture and Engineering services are required for the design of an AFFF system and an emergency egress for a mezzanine for aircraft hangar at the Ohio Air National Guard, Rickenbacker IAP, Columbus, Ohio. The design contract will cover the installation of the AFFF system and all its components including pumps, plumbing, sensors, controls, panels, and underwing turrets, and to install an emergency egress for mezzanine. The estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $1,000,000. Services will include, but not be limited to Type A services, consisting of performing field surveys, investigations, inspections, and data collection necessary to support the design phase and developing alternative concepts for design. Type B design services (at the option of the government) consisting of accomplishing a complete design based on government project book with engineering calculations and design analysis, technical specifications, detailed drawings and cost estimated for use in competitive bidding by contractors.
