D -- FLUENT AND FLUENT/NUS SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE POC Contact: Yvette Brown, Procurement Specialist, 301-415-6507 The NRC intends to enter into a sole source purchase order with Fluent, Inc. to renew the annual software maintenance fee and add an annual license fee for 4 additional FLUENT network processes and four process FLUENT Parallel only for their Fluent and Fluent/UNS Software which is currently being used for a computational fluid dynamic (CFD) code and support from Fluent, Inc. The procurement shall be conducted using other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(2)(b). There are no substitutes for the FLUENT code because it is proprietary and sold exclusively by Fluent, Inc.
