Provide outpatient assessment and counseling services for substance
abuse treatment for male and female Federal offenders in the Rocky
Mount, Virginia area, held under the authority of various United States
Statutes. A Firm-Fixed Price-Requirements type with a one year base and
four one-year options is anticipated. Services for the base year is
October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000. Services for the base year
and the four one-year options shall include services for 5 inmates as
follows: intake assessment (one per inmate), individual counseling (24
half-hour sessions per inmate) and group counseling (24 half-hour
sessions per inmate), respectively. Options will be October 1, 2000
through September 20, 2004. All services shall be performed in
accordancee with the Statement of Work, entitled "Transitional Drug
Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Substance Abuse Treatment" dated May 1999.
Proper licensing in the state of Virginia is required. The estimated
issue date for the Request for Proposal (RFP) is June 21, 1999. The
estimated closing date is July 21, 1999. All responsible sources may
submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency. Posted
