202-307-3070 Provide outpatient assessment and counseling services for
substance abuse treatment for male and female Federal offenders in the
Newport News, Virginia area, held under authority of various United
States Statutes. A Firm-Fixed Price Requirements type contract with a
one year base and four one-year options years is anticipated. Services
for the base year is October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2000.
Services shall include services for 15 inmates as follows: intake
assessment (one per inmate), individual counseling (24 half-hour
sessions per inmate) and group counseling (48 half-hour sessions per
inmate), respectively. Options will be October 1, 2000 through
September 30, 2004. All services shall be in accordance with the
Statement of Work, entitled "Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT)
Substance Abuse Treatment" dated May 1999. Proper licensing in the
State of Virginia is required. The estimated issue date is June 24,
1999. The estimated closing date is July 23, 1999, 2:00 p.m. All
responsible sources shall submit a proposal which shall be considered.
