Promoting Partnerships between General Services Administration, and
Small, Minority and Women-owned Businesses. On July 7, 1999, General
Services Administration is participating in a conference in Arlington,
Texas. The Federal Procurement Conference will be conducted at the
University of Texas at Arlington, E.H. Hereford Center, Oak and 2nd
Street, Arlington. The purpose of this event is to expand procurement
opportunities for Small, Minority and Women-Owned Businesses. The main
attraction for the conference will include GSA offering low-dollar
value requirements for the on-the-spot competition. The conference will
run from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on July 7, 1999. All times CST. For

Faxed RFQ's will be accepted until July 6, 1999. On the day of the
conference, July 7, 1999, you may obtain a copy of the RFQ at the
conference at the University of Texas at Arlington, E.H. Hereford
Center, Oak and 2nd Street, Arlington. All RFQ will not be accepted
after 10:00 a.m. on July 7, 1999 at the conference. Copies of RFQ's
will be available 6/28/99 through 7/2/99. The following is a list of
items tentatively available bids at the Federal Procurement Conference:
food service items, signs, labels, insulation, recycling collections
containers, waste receptacles, toys and preschool aids, sport supplies,
crafts and hobbies, amusement devices and games, gloves, rainwear,
sports footwear, construction hardhats/chinstraps, cleaning equipment
supplies, recruiting aids, promotional items, lawn and garden
equipment, constructions and building equipment, batteries (dry cell),
