There is a requirement for base operations and support after closure that covers a wide range of multi-funtional requirements. This requirement includes but is not limited to the following: Provide for all services, materials, supplies, plant, supervision, labor and equipment, except as specified as government-furnished, to operate, maintain and repair real property facilities; provide equipment maintenance and transportation services. The work shall include planning and implementation of a comprehensive operations and maintenance program covering the following functional areas: plumbing systems, steamfitting systems; utility plant systems and equipment; HVAC plants and systems; high and low pressure boiler systems, interior and exterior electrical systems and equipment; building structures; packing and crating services; improved and unimproved grounds; forest fire suppression support; maintenance and repair of direct and general support of tactical and nontactial wheeled vehicles; electronics; general and special support equipment and transportation services. This requirement is being solicited unrestricted. A cost-plus- award fee type contract is contemplated. The anticipated contract will consist of a one year base period of 1 Oct 99 -- 30 Sep 00 with the probability of two one-year option periods. There is some uncertainity as to the exact time the proposed contract will end. The applicable SIC Code is 8744 with a size standard of $20.0 million.
