Eric Conroy, Project Manager, 860 285-7186 On or about Thursday, June 10, 1999 the United States Postal Service, Purchasing and Materials Service Center, 8 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT in conjunction with the Windsor Facilities Service Office, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT will issue a solicitation for the purchase, delivery and installation of modular buildings in various locations within the States of New York, Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont. Offerors may submit proposals for one or both of two geographic areas (New York State and New England). Offers are due on or before Friday, July 9, 1999 no later than 5:00 p.m. EST. Award will be based upon price and other factors. The evaluation factors are outlined in the solicitation package. There will be a preproposal meeting held on Thursday, June 24, 1999 beginning at 10:00 a.m., First Floor of Building 8 (left side) to review the project specifics. THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC OPENING OF THE PROPOSALS AND THE RESULTS OF THE ADVERTISEMENT WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED UNTIL AWARD OF THE PROJECT. Work includes, but is not limited to, providing all materials, labor and equipment required to fabricate a minimum of five buildings within the New England States (maximum of ten) and a minimum of ten buildings within the New York State area (maximum of twenty) in accordance with Postal Service specifications. Work includes transportation and installation to the appropriate sites. Site development will be the responsibility of the Postal Service utilizing a site development contractor under separate contract.
