The National Imagery and Mapping Agency intends to issue a firm fixed price contract to replace the Maury Hall roof, substation and crossover. The contractor shall replace existing roof systems for the following: main roof; penthouse roof; crossover roof; and substation roof. New roofing systems shall be loose laid EPDM with stone ballast. The approximate total roof area is 41,000 SF. Work shall include the following: demolition of existing main and appendage roof systems; application of loose laid EPDM system, including insulation; roof drains reparation; installation of metal flashing; modification to roof access ladder, and masonry work. The roof systems shall possess a 15 year warranty. All work shall be performed at the address shown above. The solicitation/synopsis shall be issued on or about the 14th of June 1999, the request for proposal will be issued on or about the 5th of July 1999 and the completion date for contractor performance under the resulting contract will be 1 July 2000.
