Award will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This procurement requires prequalification. Authority and justification is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government has some specifications; however, it is restricted to approved sources as follows: Henderson Aquatic (Millville, NJ); Divers Den (Panama City, FL); Lynnhaven Dive Center (Virginia Beach, VA); Harvey Skin Diving Suits Inc (Kent, WA); Aqua Tech Dive Center (San Diego, CA); Aquatic Wetsuits Inc (Hallandale, FL). The time required for approval of new suppliers is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
