combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as
a Request For Quotation. Submit offers on RFQ905. This acquisition will
be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is 100% set
aside for small business (See Numbered Note #1). The solicitation
document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect
through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. The associated Standards
Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this procurement is 3826 and
the small business size is 500 employees. SCHEDULE: 1) Advantage HR
digital CCD camera system, as manufactured by Advanced Microscopy
Techniques., or equal. Specifications: High resolution F1.4 lens; RS170
TV output; 18 frames/sec refresh rate, with background correction; 16
bit record capability; 8 or 16 bit "tiff" saving capability; ability to
integrate with the computer supplied with a Hitachi 7500 Transmission
Electron Microscope for recording magnification, accelerating voltage,
and stage coordinates; exposure control in real time to optimize
signal/noise ratio; interface directly with Hitachi 7500 without
additional microscope modifications. FOB Point shall be Destination,
Hamilton, MT. Inside delivery shall be 30 days after receipt of order
(ARO). Delivery location is Rocky Mountain Laboratories, 903 S. 4th
Street, Hamilton, MT 59840. The following FAR provisions and clauses

Balance of Payments Program. Offerors must include with their offer a
completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offerors
Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. Warranty
information to include period and coverage, shall be stated. Award will
be based on the capability of the item offered to meet the agency need
[compatibility with a Hitachi S7500 transmission electron microscope;
must have 1024 x1024 pixel resolution; high resolution optics; and
both slow scan and TV-rate output for televideo conferencing. Image
acquisition hardware and software must be compatible with Windows 95,
enable 12 bit data acquisition for 4096 gray level and be Year 2000
compliant. On-site installation and training to be included], and
