(202) 307-3070 Provide outpatient assessment and counseling for
substance abuse treatment for male/female Federal ofofenders in Central
& Northeast Iowa and surrounding areas, held under the authority of
various United States Statutes. A Firm-Fixed-Price-Requirements type
contract with a one year base and four one-year options is anticipated.
Services for the base year of October 1, 1999 through September 30,
2000, and four one-year options (October 1, 2000 through September 30,
2004) shall include forty (40) inmates as follows: intake assessment
(one per inmate), individual counseling (48 half hour sessions per
inmate) and group counseling (72 half hour sessions per inmate). All
services shall be performed in accordance with the Transitional
Services Statement of Work "Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT)
Substance Abuse Treatment" dated May 1999. Proper licensing in the
State of Iowa is required. The estimated issue date for the Request for
Proposals (RFP) is o/a June 25, 1999. The estimated closing date for
the RFP is July 26, 1999. All responsible sources may submit a proposal
which shall be considered by this agency. No collect phone calls will
be accepted. No telephone request for the RFP will be accepted. Request
