UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., is seeking source for construction service for installation of overhead doors to includes material and labor to cut five(5) 20 foot wide x 14 foot high openings in the existing metal building, material to furnish five(5) 20 foot wide x 14 foot high coiling service doors with electric operators which includes: 20 gauge galvanized prime painted slats, structural steel guides, electric operators 3/4 horse power 120 volt, auxiliary chain hoist and electric reversing edge. NOTE: All wire and wiring, paint and painting will be provided in house. All work to be performed within prison fence. Cost magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation number is 1PI-B-2117-99 and is issued as an Invitation for Bid(IFB). This solicitation is set aside 100% for small business. All bidders must hold there price firm for 60 calendar days from the due date specified for receipt of bids. Any amendments to this solicitation must be acknowledged in writing. Any bid or modifications to bids received after specified due date for receipt of bids will not be considered. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to a responsible bidder whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and is considered most advantageous to the Government.
