The project covered by the solicitation consists of furnishing all plant, labor,supervision, supplies, equipment, materials and transportation to upgrade an existing 5 kV overhead and underground primary electrical distribution system to new 15kV class construction. Construction includes pole replacements, new crossarms, hardware, switches, insulators, guy assemblies, grounding systems, fused cutouts, lighting arresters, primary underground conductors, replacement of transformers (pad and pole mounted) reconfiguring and respacing of existing overhead lines, demolition of an existing substation and conversion of a main system substation to operate at 12.47 kV. All work is at Otis Air National Guard Base, Mass. Performance period is 760 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Prime contractor will be required to perform 50% of all work. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000,00. This solicitation is being issued as unrestricted.
