labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal
necessary to replace 6-foot high cedar fence at various locations on
the transmitter site at USCG Communication Station Boston, Otis ANGB,
MA (Barnstable County). Work includes removing and disposing of
existing fence and gates, and providing and installing new 6-foot high
open-spaced picket cedar fence and gates in the same locations. Most
of the fencing is located around the transmitter towers at the site.
Approximately 1,700 linear feet of fencing will be replaced, which
includes seventeen 4-foot wide gates. Estimated cost of this project is
between $25,000 and $100,000 dollars. SIC code is 1799. Solicitation

Utilization (OSDBU) has programs to assist minority, women-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier.
The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid,
payment and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT
provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against
losses. Loans are available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program
(STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The max. line of credit is $500,000. For further information
