Heckman, Contract Specialist, (202)324-2279 The Federal Bureau of Investigation has a requirement for Modified Broadcast Trailers for fiscal year (FY) 1999. The award of this procurement is based upon available funding in FY 99. A commercial item firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity type contract is contemplated with an initial award year and (4) four (1) one year options. The estimated minimum will be (4) four trailers and modifications during the award year with an estimated maximum of 50 trailers and modifications over the life of the contract. The trailers shall be "Brand Name or Equal" 1999 Sooner 7x7x16 trailer. The modifications to these trailers shall include the installation of the following items: generator, generator enclosure, fuel cell, power transfer devices, air conditioner unit, roof access ladder, rooftop platform, wiring of the ac load center, rubber mat flooring, furnish and install heavy duty flared leg industrial workbench, roof structure. The following items shall be offered as optional modifications: 12V battery bank, ac load center, ancillary equipment, furnish and install awning, furnish and install, rear storage cabinets, exterior lighting and wiring, heavy duty mast -- nonlocking 7'-30', heavy duty mast -- nonlocking 8.5'-52', heavy duty mast -- nonlocking 9'-58', Pneumatic mast system.
