Department of Education intends to award a purchase order for services to provide an effective practice guide for strengthening fathers' involvement in education. This guide is required in support of the Vice President's initiative on fathers involvement in children's lives. The publication shall include a routine rationale for father involvement in education and subsections on the benefits of father involvement in schools, overcoming obstacles to fathers' involvement in education strategies to get fathers involved, and resources index. This purchase order is intended as a sole source award to National Center for Fathering, Shawnee Mission, KS 66204.
