This contract will include the paving of four campground loop roads along Forest Development Road (FDR) 50674 and a section of Forest Highway (FH) 48 the East Fork of the Salmon River Road, as well as graveling and paving other parking areas along FDR 50674. Paving on FH 48 will be from the junction of FDR 50674 North to the bridge crossing the South Fork of the Salmon River, a distance of approximately 102 m. Work in the campgrounds will include paving loop roads and one camping spur at each campground as well as paved trails for access to facilities such as water and restrooms. Other spurs and parking areas within the campground will receive aggregate surfacing. Scope of work will include minor earth work at various locations indicated in the drawings and as marked on the ground by the Forest Service, placement of large rocks to act as vehicle barriers, removing several small structures prior to paving and installation of one culvert as well as gravel placement, adding small prefabricated risers and access covers to protect existing water system valves in one campground and paving at various locations along FDR 50674.
