The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk Detachment Washington, D.C. has a requirement for one (1) 5-Axis Computer Numerical Controlled Robotic Router System. Additionally, the Government will require installation, training, a post processor program, and tooling for the equipment. There will be an option to purchase increased quantities of tooling for the 5-Axis CNC Robotic Router System. Delivery of the 5-Axis CNC Robotic Router System must be made within 150 days after contract award. Items will be delivered to the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded in September 1999. The evaluation factors for award will be price, technical acceptability, and past performance. The evaluation (of technically acceptable proposals) will consider past performance approximately equal to price. The SIC code for this requirement is 3599. This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is 28 June 1999. The solicitation will be posted on the following web site: http://www.neco.navy.mil.
