This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested, which must contain technical literature of compatibility, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this action is DE-RP26-99FT0770 and is being issued as a Request for Proposal. The following are deliverables associated with this announcement: Pulsed Reactor System for High Temperature Gas Stream Cleanup Test Facility. The pulsed reactor system must have the following minimum critical characteristics: A pulsed power supply delivering up to 1 kW of power at a voltage of 25kV and repetition rate of up to 2 kHz. The stand-alone, turnkey system shall also include a control module, pulsed gas reactor and integrated electrical diagnostics. The complete system must have a pulse risetime of no more than2ns (at 10-90 percent) and a minimum pulse width of 15 ns. The system must be portable, weighing no more than 175 pounds.
