This is not considered an amendment to the solicitation simply additional information. Except as provided all other terms and conditions remain unchanged. -- 9. Question: Would the 50 to 1,000 hours specified in item three (3) be the covering item for any special services to configure the system to run automatically? Answer: Item three (3) would be the covering item for any services required to configure the system to format the tagged ASCII input for publication. If configuration changes are required for the software to run as a batch process, these services could also be covered by item three (3). In general item three (3) would cover software support services that would be needed to go from a default out-of-box configuration to a fully-configured turnkey operation, with the system boundary beginning with the tagged text files. If a base set of support is included with the purchase of the software, it would be advantageous to the Offeror to explain that these services would be provided as part of the purchase price.
