This is a Market Survey/Sources Sought Announcement seeking to identify potential suppliers. The Installation Contracting Division, HQ IOC is seeking sources for upgrade and replacement part (10 each) for the existing Real Time Analytical Platforms (RTAPs)at Pine bluff Chemical Activity, Pine Bluff Arsenal. The RTAPs are mobile monitoring systems designed by the Army for detecting low levels of chemical agents. The instrumentation includes, in part, a monitoring system composed of a Dynatherm ACEM 900 Sampler mounted on a Hewlett Packard gas chromatograph. The ACEM 900 is the part to be replaced and the new unit supplied must be a direct replacement part for the existing system. Specifications for the replacement part are as follows: It will have dual collection tubes operating in alternate cycles to provide continuous, uninterrupted sample concentration throughout the survey period. Each is linked in tandem with a focusing trap, enabling efficient chromatographic separation of agents and interference's. It will be fully automated and have the same heated zones, set point range, timed events, sampling flow, RS-232 interface, GC interface, and carrier gas valving as the original commercially available ACEM 900 it is replacing.
