Th U.S. Army CECOM Acquisition Center is issuing a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) requesting proposals in support of for ZINC-AIR BATTERY for field use. This BAA will be issued under the provision of FAR 6.102(d)(2) research proposal. A cost plus fixed fee type contract is anticipated. Pending approval of funding, a total of approximately $800k for a period of 18 months may be available for funding the effort or multiple efforts in order to accomplish this program. No award can be made without a proposal to perform the specific effort with an estimated cost and time frame work. CECOM will evaluate proposals and make contract award within a reasonable period of time. Such invitation does not assure subsequent contract award.
