Officer, (301) 402-3070 The National Institutes of Health is soliciting
contractual support inclusive of all necessary management, personnel,
materials and vehicles necessary to perform receiving, package
examination and certification, repackaging, labeling and delivery of
all radioactive materials shipments to the NIH (approximately 20,000
packages annually). Receipt, examination and certification of packages
involves: (1) certification that the package contents comply with the
order; (2) examination for gross damage or leakage; (3) verification
of radioactivity contamination and measurement of exposure rates from
the package (4) recordation of results; and (5) repackaging for
delivery to the intended addressee. This requirement is 100% set-aside
for small business concerns. To enable firms to determine their size
as required for this requirement, the small business size standard is
a concern, including its affiliates, having average annual sales or
receipts for its past three fiscal years not in excess of $5 million.
The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 8999. Solicitation
263-99-P(GG)-0033 to be issued on or about 15 calendar days after
publication of this announcement in the CBD. Solicitation closing date
will be approximately 40 calendard days after issue date. Requests for
solicitations must be submitted in writing. NO telephone request will
