U -- SECURITIES INDUSTRY TRAINING SOL SECHQ1-99-R-0010 POC Debra Chapman, (202) 942-4994 The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") is seeking to contract for instructor-led training classes in the following anticipated four subject areas: 1) Trading, 2) Securities Processing/Operations, 3) Auditing and Internal Controls, and 4) Margin Analysis/Credit Control. All of these courses will be conducted in multiple cities with each course to be delivered to approximately 250 participants. The SEC anticipates awarding up to four contracts for these training courses. It is anticipated that all training will be conducted during the months of September through December 1999. Successful contractor(s), will be responsible for, among other things, supplying master training materials, appropriate textbooks, master written examinations, certificates of completion, and the necessary support and coordination to ensure the training events run smoothly.
