The work for this project consists of constructing a new tensioned membrane roof covering over the USS Cairo (an ironclad gunboat dating from the Civil War), including required demolition of existing roof structure, relocation of site utilities, and patching of disturbed materials. Other line items include repair work to existing museum building exterior enclosure (walls and roof deck) and brick walk paths to prevent ponding water and water intrusion into the museum building, and lighting, lightning protection, mechanical and fire protection. LOCATION: Vicksburg National Military Park, Vicksburg (Warren Co.) Mississippi. Magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Telephone request will not be accepted. Fax request must be on company letterhead stationery when transmitted. The first fifteen (15) sets of plans and drawings will be available at no charge. All requested received after the initial fifteen will require a $25.00 fee payable to the US Treasury. Company checks and US Postal Money Orders will be acceptable.
