Project calls for replacing approximately 2200 linear feet of underground JP8 fuel piping with new above grade fuel piping at the Bulk Fuel Storage Area at Dyess AFB, Texas. Work includes cleaning, capping, and abandoning existing piping. Also included is providing new piping with isolation valves, and modification of piping for five existing JP8 jet fuel storage tanks to accomodate new piping. Work also includes piping system flushing and testing. Project will be issued on or about 5 July with proposals being due on or about 11 August.
